I’ve check out a lot of various sites that offer free website templates. I’ve download loaded several and took part the design to figure out the code. Unfortunately the free templates can only offer so much compared to the purchasable templates that contain so much.
I’m looking for resources, both web and book, that will help me expand even more on CSS, Javascript, and PHP. Recommendations are completely welcomed!
In today’s technology surrounded society, tablets and smart phones are becoming more and more popular. The Samsung Android tablets comes in various sizes and the recent New Ipad contains new features and a better display. Their handheld mobile counter parts can even be found at various providers. Even though there are more Android based phones compared to the Iphone, both Apple and Android based products can be found almost everywhere.
With these devices becoming popular, companies are making a change to integrate the device to draw more consumers. Will this mean design will begin to shift from print to digital? Both have their pros and cons, but one may not necessary work best compared to the other. Which one do you prefer, print or digital?
Now that I have a better grasp on web designing and expanding on social networks, I will be starting our fresh. I will be blogging more often and possibly opening a twitter account for my designs. I have my own personal facebook, but figure I will make a separate account for my designs as well.
As for my website… I will be changing up the look of it, but it will take some time. I have been checking out various templates and taking them apart to expand my knowledge. So far I am proficient with HTML/HTML5 and CSS/CSS3, but I would definitely like to expand my palette to include Javascript and PHP. With the new website design will come new projects.
To keep my design skill sharp, I have been working on some of my own personal projects that are more for portfolio purposes. Besides my pieces related to Graphic Design, I have been expanding myself into the digital and traditional side of design. As a designer, there are many ideas and projects, but not everything can be executed.
